Our History

Since 2007 Diversity Matters North West has worked with South Asian communities to challenge health inequalities, support community members and improve access to services and inclusion. Our women’s Interpretation and Translation Service is built on this experience. By choosing us, you’re not just getting interpretation services; you’re supporting a cause that uplifts and empowers marginalised and seldom heard communities while ensuring effective communication for all!

Our interpretation service provides South Asian women, who face significant barriers and discrimination in the labour market, with flexible training and employment opportunities close to where they live.  Since 2017 we have enabled over 50 women to gain Community Interpreting qualifications.

Income raised through our interpretation and translation services goes directly back into supporting the charitable work of DMNW.
